Hey Fellas-

I've gone nuts with my rig and can't stop staring out the window at it! What do you guys think so far?

Here is a quick before and now....

Oh thank god. I read your first line about how you cant stop staring out the window and I just saw the top photo......that scared me:lol:

The second picture is much better! I like the rack you have there too.

I have a little vibration at slower speeds and ordered a double cardan front drive shaft to hopefully eliminate it. I have caster plates - Left is .9* and Right is .8*.

How much do you want for the old wheels ???:flipoff2:

(Welcome by the way!)

Looks good. Welcome to the Socal80's section. When's the next Baja trip Bajabound?

Thanks FJ - I'm looking for the right southwest swell to shoot down to Scorps!

My old wheels and tires aren't posted online yet - I'd like to get $1200 for the set with 305/75/16 BFG AT's. There is about 2500 miles and 1 off roading trip on the set. One wheel got a bit-o-rash from Jacumba. Here is a pic of it...

I had a custon dc shaft made from drivelines inc in oc, it helped alot but I still have some slight vibrations...it's something I have to fix, can't stand those kinds of issues with my vehicles.

I went to a place locally and they didn't have the correct fitting so they wanted to turn the flange and drill new holes, that idea didn't sit well with me, so I called Slee - I know this is common practice - I'm OCD.:flipoff2:

Wow Mike, that looks great with the new meats! Let us know if you have a "rubbing" issue with the larger tires. I just installed 2" bump stops on all 4 corners to eliminate mine but I have yet to test them.

x2! :flipoff2: I just finished some tasty strawberry waffles for breakfast, saw that first pic and almost lost breakfast! :p

Welcome!!! :flipoff2:

NICE

I've had an 80 and a 100 that both came with bling. Nothing was more gratifying than putting the stock alloys with M/T or A/T tires on them, on my rig. I hate chrome:mad:

Your rig looks awesome, stout!

Looking real good there Mike. That first photo almost blinded me...

Just had a double cardan front drive shaft put on from Slee. The front end vibs are gone - which isolated the rear vibs:cheers:.... it never stops... but I'm ok with that!

The 2nd pic of the shaft is where mine failed with the previous 5" lift. Not enough angle and caused vibes and clank sounds over time.

I actually like these gun metal wheels, wish I had the $ and wish they had KM2's for rubber. What are they off of and do they need spacers?

Haha... I showed my 10 year old the pic of your 80 in the first pic... He said,"That's Nasty!!" Then he saw the 2nd pic and said, "That's Tight!" :D

I couldn't help but feel pride in my chest!!! Then he goes to say, "I want an old school Ford Bronco when I start driving" "Painted drab green"... Good grief...:o
