80 Series Steering Stalk compatibility

I have a 1997 FZJ80 and would to replace my steering column stalk (high beam, turn signal stalk, wipers & washer and cruise control).

I've seen OEM 92-95 on ebay and wanted to know would any of the early years would be compatible with the later 1997 models?

Here’s my thoughts, are the part numbers the same? Do you have the ewd? Might just need to repin? Only thing else is I don’t know if any of the airbag stuff runs through that harness?
Why not just buy correct year?

Exhausting all options. There are other parts that are interchangeable and would think a steering column would be the same.

Perhaps it has to do with the air bag?

It won’t fit. You need a later year specific.
The later year 80 had cruise as part of the steering wheel.
