Nice looking rig (but agree with you on the wheels).1992 FJ80
owner: Tim H.
name: Mbogo2 - Mbogo is Swahili for Cape buffalo. My ‘25 LC250 is Mbogo1
258,000 miles
Mods: truck is new to me but came with a full prinsu roof rack, ugly 17” wheels and crappy 265/70/r17 tires, and a light bar that isn’t currently hooked up. I will probably do quite a bit to it eventually but starting with getting the engine in much better shape (it runs great but has a few small leaks and needs quite a bit of maintenance and updating worn out parts ), and fixing things that are wrong like dome lights, rear bumper rust, etc. before I start on any major mods.
Use: will be used for hunting, bad weather, and hauling around anything I don’t want to put in our nicer vehicles. I imagine I will drive it a fair amount for normal stuff just because I always wanted an 80 and think they are so cool.

Will do, didn’t even know about it. The wheels eventually will go! Considering some Steelies but not sure. It will be a while. Need a lot of other things first. Thx!Nice looking rig (but agree with you on the wheels).
If you aren't already a member of The Kentucky Land Cruiser Association, join up. There are group rides throughout the year... and most take in different parts of The Daniel Boone Back Country Byway. Always good fun, and good people.
You’re very welcome. Will do, didn’t even know about it. The wheels eventually will go! Considering some Steelies but not sure. It will be a while. Need a lot of other things first. Thx!

The kids love sitting back there with friends. Previous owner said they were Toyota seatsThose are some pretty sweet seats in the rear; never have seen that style before.
I think they might be troop carrier style seats from a 70 series. But thats only based on a quick google search. The 40s have center facing seats like that too.The kids love sitting back there with friends. Previous owner said they were Toyota seats.
Nice looking rig. And welcome!Hi!
My name is Matthew from Hungary, this is my Land Cruiser. I am the 16th lucky person to own it.
1992 HDJ 80

Wilbur Walsh
Only 431598km
I have many plans but unfortunately don't have enough time for these plans yet. He now rolls with a basic Ironman suspension kit. I already have the new one (Trail Master by Maas), but the time is not yet right to replace it.
It is an everyday family car, and we use it for trips on weekends.
