1. 1995 Land Cruiser
2. Jonathan
3. Oliver
4. 273K
5. Mods... Stock, but with larger tires
6. How the truck is used - We will be restoring this truck back to fairly original condition to have as a dedicated "play" truck. No extreme wheeling, but I have wheeled this truck when we owned it previously and we know how VERY capable it is in stock condition.
7. Photo:
20170604_185924.jpg

The photo does not show the entire truck, but it does show the whole crew of LCs and LX currently in the drive.

Story:
I originally purchased this 80 series back in 2010 from a local dealer and started working on it with my youngest son. We went through getting rid of codes and making sure that it was very reliable. It then became his first vehicle and DD for the following 6 years. He is now leaving the Army after a successful 4-year term and starting college at the University of Idaho. This has made him want to downsize, so he is keeping his 1981 Jeep Scrambler (all original) and sold the Land Cruiser back to his "old man".

I am now going to go through this truck from bumper to bumper and refurbishing it to the best of my ability, with safety and solid mechanics being priority #1 and then leather and other "what-not" to follow. I expect this to cost us a few $$$ to do, but over time it is doable and my wife likes the idea of us having a well preserved "classic". By the time I get all of the repairs done, it will indeed be a "classic". (I'm not sure if the State of Idaho considers a car a classic at 20 years or 25.)

shes a beauty. I like the loof.

I love how most of our rigs have well over 200k, awesome.
Have been driving only Toyota for +25 yrs started with bj60 now driving a 93 bj 80. Never gave a vehicle a name but as I now have 2 in my driveway might need to name one. Daily driver with enuff k to go to the moon n1/2 back( almost half million)I drive a cruiser because I need one to go hunting exploring prospecting fishing etcetera. It starts at -35 without being plugged in, this is Winterpeg after all. So far..ARB bumper and Warn winch front has locking hubs set of IPF driving Lites. Swapped axles with my parts truck, factory lockers with the wiring harness intact. 33 inch Kelly's. 2 1/2 OME coils gas shocks. Then the head gasket went so I swapped out the engine and tranny together. Tons of fun now have fresher engine n tranny. Will be changing the lift gate and doors as needed. Love my toy!truck originally came from Phoenix.

2. Name of owner: Oscar

3. Name of rig: LC

4. Mileage: 245,000 (as og 6/2017)

5. Mods: pretty much stock other than I added a switch to manually control the diffs (rather than low range doing that)

6. How the truck is used: Was my daily driver for the first 16 years of its life. Often saw desert, camping, rock crawling, and road trips. Nowadays it serves as a second car and for making runs to Home Depot, etc.
