My trick to pulling a steering wheel....

Loosen nut but not all the way off.....grab the steering wheel and pull and rock side to side...it will pop loose if you don't have the nut then you will have a steering wheel in your face.

Have done this on a ton of cars and trucks works like a charm.

I did that on the other Cruiser....3 good yanks and it was off.

I snatched the HELL out of this one 20+ times. Hit the center with a brass drift....

It popped off super easy with my home puller though.

That would be harder, but sure, you could do that.

It was adjusted as best they could at 49 Tire. My sector shaft has a twist in it so everything is a bit catty wompus.

what's a bit catty wompus?

Time to vent! My dream deal on the LA 80 is turning into a nightmare! Thirty days later and I still have no title. The guy was always hard to reach by phone (now impossible) but I could usually get him to respond to a text fairly quickly. When I started to push him a little bit two days ago all responses stopped.:mad::mad:. The guy is supposed to be a city cop in Scott, LA so I think I'm going to have to take a day off work and pay his supervisor a visit. Not sure what else to do at this point...:bang:

ThAt is a bummer! This guy don't want to mess with the Bossman. Hope you get it worked out.

Oh, I can file with the State of Arkansas for a mechanics lien for the work I have already done on the truck. It takes a while and you have to jump through some hoops but I can get a legal title that way. It's just such a pain in the ass!

Check your brake fluid level...

Did that, changed the cap too, still have to check brake pedal wire and fuse.
