I know it's super low miles, but a 3FE truck? WOW!

Proves to me that people paying these prices don’t know s*** about Land Cruisers.

The 62 sells higher than a 60 becauae these clown buyers can’t drive a stick
It'd be interesting to know if the purchaser is aware the 91-92 80s are "different." And you're right on the 62. Pitiful how many people these days opt for an automatic, simply because they didn't care to learn how to drive a manual............

We’re assuming these guys even plan on driving thede. They’re probably just checking off a box for their collection, or gave a blank check to the decorator.

I would not sell this 3FE turd for $19,000 though

A big number, no less, but probably not THAT crazy of a price

Don’t ever unscrew these two screws and take a peek.

A quick mud search would’ve told you that. You’re screwed now. At least you have a broader selection with a 3fe and can pull from a 62 or 91-92 80. If you screw up one from a 93-94 80, that’s when it becomes as issue. Stay away from the Chinese knock off. Will appear to be OEM, even comes in a Toyota box. A proper reman doesn’t exist either as they are usually opened to be cleaned and damaged. That leaves you with used. Make sure it was removed from a running truck. If seller has a 3fe see if they can test before shipping. If you find one that is way less expensive than others out there I guarantee it will not work correctly.

God...that looks like the miserable clock spring/gear mechanism inside the POS e-locker motors that everyone loves so damn much.

👎

Haha. TRIPLE LOCKED OR DIE!

Talk about a blast from the past. Part number, 81150-60214 shows it’s for 91-94 and I just cant bring myself to install it on my 94 as it will just get destroyed and I will have to cry. Im sure I can retrofit it into my 97 but am going with depo’s instead. For the time being it will live in my closet...if you can use it make me an offer as I have no idea how to price something that just doesn’t exist anymore.

I'm glad I'm not the only dumbass around here! I soldered mine back and it was a PITA, but it works and runs better than before. Only thing is the CEL 24 is showing now.
I found a mention of this guy on ebay, RESURRECTED AUTO PARTS | eBay Stores. No affiliation. Yours looks about the same as my '94 AFM.

Edit: If someone on MUD is a good solderer, then they could make a good side job of repairing these AFM's from the earlier 80 series. For some reason those two screws tempt a lot of people to pull them out, and as soon as you do, the solder on the tabs comes apart and no go.

I have a large Long Range Automotive FZJ80 fuel tank I bought that won’t fit on my FJ80 due to the exhaust.

New these are about $2000 shipped. I have $1500 in it. It has been installed in a truck but was never used.
