@FJ60Cam

1997. 184-ish K miles.

It's been taken for granted, but not abused. Has a few battlescars (all occurred in the driveway, lol). Needs a flare reattached.

Never wheeled, except to park in the grass once. No lockers.

Eric, if you want some cheap semi-gloss paint, check out the plasti-dip line. Goes on super smooth, looks great, is cheap, and is surprisingly durable. You can peel it off if you ever get tired of it too.

Dafuq?! tan interior?! Lemme sell this plasma and platelets...
No really. Has the HG been done? anything under 200k is low miles to me lately.
IF... AND That's a big IF, I buy another 80, then I'll swap all my goodies off of Mulligan and sell it at scrap price... It'll be stock at that point.
Ah! I have cruiser ADHD
I REALLY want a blue one

Plasti-dip is the dumbest thing since NSync split up.
It peels like CRAP. With what we do... it's terrible. I pressure wash my truck almost weekly... it won't hold it.

Plasti Dip is a spray paint, and as long as you are gentle with the pressure washer, it will hold up. It is durable enough that you can wash, scrub, and rinse like a regular paint job. If you get some trail pinstripes on it, just peel it off and do-over, or paint over it. I think how much or how little it peels off is directly related to the paint condition before you lay down the Plasti-dip. Same concept as the guys who do the rustoleum camo paint colors on an FJ40. There's a guy in Jackson who has a powder blue M3, that looks pretty cool. When I first heard about it, I laughed and imagined a pretty stupid looking paint job, but after I looked into it further, I was surprised by what I saw and read. I wouldn't think twice about painting a trail rig with it. I plasti dipped my TRD rock warriors, and the finish is really impressively smooth.

I don't have any pics of any of the rigs or wheels I've seen. but yeah, on par with a spray paint job. a car that will only get road grime, that you gently wash, sure. A truck that will get globs of mud in the fenders and wheels that you hit with a 150psi pressure washer, no. That was my only point.
I love the look of it.

Since we are trying to get him to go to KOH he needs to wrap it like a CA roll!

That would be a fine application. Keep in mind its fairly satin (if that is what you are going for).

I have the full set up for plasti dip up at the shop if you want to try it out Nolan. Bring a gallon of dip and you are more than welcome to try it out. You can add a Glossifier after spraying it and it will remove some of the satin finish.

For Da Haterz,
When properly applied it can stand up to the pressure washer and an automatic car wash. Will need 6-8 coats.
