Oh man, is that real?

no sir. I could never have something that nice.

Here's my childhood riz-ide:

Rob! Lemme get them RockStar wheels and iWont's!

And... lemme see a rig with plasti dip holding up! Seriously. I'd be game but all the rigs and wheels and bumpers and tool boxes I see look like shunt and they don't see half the pressure washing I do nearly weekly.

Wheels an tires are already sold pending payment. If it falls through you are first on the list. Tires are radials not bias. Wheels are 8x6.5
As soon as I catch up I will dip my 80 or the honda and torture test the finished product.

That ad makes no sense. What is with the stupid statements about the transmission? That is a strong hint that it is bogus.

The 80 is ailing - Speedometer dropped out all of a sudden, has a low idle [about 400 or little less] after it's warm and the OD light is blinking - didn't see that last one until I was home in the driveway. Searched posts for these symptoms and found a few suggesting VSS but also transmission solenoid [#2 solenoid I think] issues, along w/ ground path problem and even a burnt trace on the gage cluster PC board. Seemed to drive / shift OK, but may be early in the issue starting.

Anyone seen similar?

I was having a slow/slight oil leak in the Lexus that I couldn't find and finally traced it down to the distributor. But unfortunately it wasn't the typical oring leak that I had already replaced when I rebuilt the motor. Upon further inspection you could see that it was actually coming from inside the distributor. And of course the distributor is not rebuildable it is a sealed bearing that is pressed in at the factory.

Thanks guys. I did have another and it is working great(after I re stabbed it being one tooth off). Set the timing to ~7.5` instead of the factory 3'.
No more leak.

I had to slum it today and drive the :princess:'s 450. Summbitch won't warm up. Is this most likely a stuck t'stat? Are those hard to replace on the 80's?

Burnt trace on the speedo PC board found; replacement ordered to see if that's the only culprit to the problems

3 12mm and done. Not even 1 more like 1/3

Good stuff Dan. We installed a set on a 200 last month. Let me know how they work out.
