Lets see if this works...

Slow progress but the storage drawers and sleeping platform are coming along well.

There will be another box that will bolt in where the missing second row seat should be. Should give me about 6'3" to rest my weary bones.

Drawer boxes are built waiting for the glue to dry. I will just have to atach the drawer fronts and drill about a 2" hole through each front so I can reach in and pull them open. Well, and more paint.

May start on the other box / may not. Kinda beat.

Noel, this is what you need for that 80 chassis. Rob can install it. Have Aqualu send you one.

Noel, I agree, this is what you need. Very unique (sort of like an FJ45LV with coil springs). Plus, it would be a BRAND NEW body with the added benefit of NO possibility of ANY rust on the body EVER!

I can buy a tan rust free 60 for half the price of that unfinished body and put it on there. Just not as retro
That'd be cool too......a locked, coil spring 60 with 4 wheel disc and a full-floater would be sweet! Send it all to Rob and tell him to get started. He has ample room now.....

Pretty sure you would need to take around 5" out of the 80 frame to make the wheels line up in the fenders. Piece of cake for Rob.

No dovetail joints like a real cabinet maker would probably do... But it will work. BTW - it's a crime what they are selling as $50 a sheet cabinet grade 3/4" birch plywood these days. You shouldn't have to glue the plywood together before you cut it should you?:(

your box looks really cool BossMan but I like Den Mom Deb's box better...
