My Cruiser knowledge does not include 4:1 gears in a split case. Do tell.
Mine either... Georg has mad skillz. Case has to be machined, welded, machined again (as it was described to me) and gears from AA fit into the case. Hopefully Georg will chime in and correct any errors I spew.

Here are the aforementioned four monkeys, box, etc ready to go in tomorrow after work.

Nope. But it had it seatbelt(s) on for safety. Literally.
Georg was able to reuse a crate built by Charles and some excess seatbelt material and lag screws to secure everything. It all arrived in perfect condition. :)

Finished the H55f/4:1 t-case install yesterday. Well, still need to mod the skid plate and bolt it back up but will wait a few hundred miles and change the fluids first. Nothing to take a pic there of so here are a couple of pics of the ridiculously large fuel can rack I built for the 4x4 Labs rear bumper swing out. It will accommodate four Scepter cans.

Drove Ardenne's Lexus tonight and did some curb wheeling. It'll climb the 2' curb at the shop and the stairs at the First Baptist Church with the new lift on!

Chicken! If you had gotten in trouble you could have gone inside and asked for forgivness!

Is there any sort if consensus on using the bellows style diff breathers vs extended breather lines? I'm feeling lazy and thought I would throw some on the 80 but I KNOW it's going to see some serious water crossings in the near future. Experiences?

I used them for years and mine saw lots of water. Never an issue.

If you overfill diff and it gets hot there is a chance it will purge itself out a seal.

Normal operating levels and you can get them hot and hit water. No problem.
