Love the 40th style and color!

What's the plan for it? fix the six and it becomes a grocery getter part time wheeler? or end up in Limbo like yo 4runner? ; )
 
Hopefully the engine won't be thrashed. It will be a touch decision to make as to which one gets the fresh rebuilt motor. The tires are TSL radials so the will be replaced!
 
what do you plan on doing with the 80 that doesn't get the rebuilt motor.
 
Is the 40th in better condition ( interior, exterior, etc ) than the other one?

I have always loved the 40th.

If it were me, I would get the 40th up and running with the other 80's parts if need be.

Either way it looks like you will have 2 good 80s with rebuilt engines soon it seems...
 
My 80 is 100% for sale now. I'm replacing it with a 1998 100 series.

It is one of the nicest 80s in our group.
I think the only reason he is selling it, is truthfully, he has trouble getting in it.

There are some scratches but nothing a good buffing won't polish out.

There are some nicks from road rocks on the front of the hood but they have a dab of clear on them to keep from causing trouble.
