80-series Fender Flares - Not Many Options

Appears the 1/4 of the front flare is missing/broken. I’d go the route of searching for some clean used ones regardless of color. A decent body shop can paint them to match. Did this for my 93 a few years ago.

I think they are available new from Toyota still. I had the ones on my rear doors replaced last week at Toyota and they painted them and installed new gaskets too.

Fender flares for the 93/94 model years are discontinued by Toyota. 95 through 97 appears available new. If you have a 93/94 rig only option is used.

This is very much true. If it were me, I'd pull the flares off and see how damaged they actually are. If it's not cracked, you could just shoot it with epoxy primer, put some body filler on there and smooth out out, then seal it with epoxy primer and repaint. The sealing step is critical if there are *any* exposed fibers.

Unless those flares are crushed and flopping around, I would say they could be easily repaired. At least as easy as scuffing, painting, and mounting the aftermarket ones. Maybe a little messier of a job, though.

here you go. Looks like a95+ attachment layout for the front flares. I installed a used 93/94 front fender on my truck and had to drill new holes for the 95 flare going on it. The front , rear and center holes are common. So I attached felt pads to the other locations wet with paint. Attached the front and rear of the flare with one of the metal stud in the center location and just hinged the flare up and into place using the center stud to locate it. Then drill out the paint marks.

The front flares aren't sculpted to the body were the side detail is but a little sanding with a di grinder should make short work of it. The flare for the rear door is already sculpted.

Kit comes with all the metal anchors you need but none of the plastic ones.

I haven't installed them yet but will soon hopefully. The one on the right is the factory flare, beat up and missing braces.

I just bought a pass driver door white off eBay, had a few options and some were pricey, when I bought mine I think there were couple other ones. Make sure they came off 95 to 97. Was full set off 93 94 as well all used

I can’t find anything on eBay. Do you happen to have a link?
 
What about some of these styles? I was watching 4wd 24/7 the other day and Jesse who runs a pretty sick Nissan Patrol had what looked to be some simple rubber flares on his rig. I’m going to do more digging but seems like something that may work that can be replaced easily when needed.

Here's an Australian youtube video showing an install on an 80. I like a flexible rubber flare that is easily replaceable and will "give" if you scrub it up against something...
