80 Series brake hydro booster conversion installed

What master cylinder are you using? The Superduty hydroboost is same internal displacement as every other hydroboost.

The 80 series steering pressure is more than enough for hydroboost. It's the same as the 7.3 Superduty at 1200 psi.

The master cylinder is a huge factor. I recommend using the stock 100 series 1" bore master. I think it works great.
The FJZ80 has a 1” bore as well. I’ve got my kit from power train integrations. I’m plan on sticking with my FJ MC or getting T100 MC which is 1 1/16

To derail the thread,

I’ve pulled my engine out for head gasket and decided to convert to hydro boost while at it because I’m sick in the head.

I’ve got the power train integration kit, 05-10 motorcraft hydroboost, will probably get a version of PSC reservoir & bigger cooler.

I’m looking at different threads and it seems like most people have

Res to pump 12an
pump to hydro boost - 6an
Hydro boost to steering box - 6an
Steering box to cooler - 6an
Cooler to res 8an.

Why would the return to reservoir be larger? Isn’t 6an too small too? I’d imagine I’d want at least 8an all around.

What did you guys run?
 
Yeah, that is definitely your problem. The superduty master is HUGE. I'm surprised it works at all.

This kit bolts any 99-2010 Superduty hydroboost into an 80 series or any other toyota with a 4 bolt master.

The 2017 hydroboost you used has some minor differences so it's not compatible with this kit.
Are you saying there exists a kit to mount the 4 bolt flange of the T100 MC to the 2 stud mounting surface of the hydro booster?

I have a Bosch HB. Are the Syed distances the same as the Ford?
The bolt spacing and master pushrod lengths are different for every hydroboost variation. Very unlikely my kit would work for your hydroboost.
