I have been running it for about 3 months now with no issues. I ran the hose from the input side of the radiator straight to the line that goes to the transmission cooler.

Selling that radiator for that price shipped is an incredible deal. I could not touch it. I have to generate some profit to keep my job and I do not have the luxury to be able to give stuff away. More power to them and you.

FWIW - I dont have nothing to do with or any financial interest with Camelback Toyota's pricing. I merely posted it up along with others pricing :meh: Sorry if anyone was butt hurt:princess:

There are a qualified MUD vendor like other Toyota dealership here.

Phil I would never infer that you should work for free in order to "compete amongst friends".

Well since Beno lowered his price to $340 shipped he becomes my go to guy on 94 3 core radiators because I would need to need to pay tax in AZ on the $331.96 ;)

Well I am glad to know that your loyalty is still affordable........

I don't get it, why so much hate towards Camelback? Was there some secret closed door meeting between vendors about price fixing? And Camelback decided to not play along? :meh:

They have been giving stuff away for years, it is their business model. Just ask any other Phoenix metro dealer.

Lets be honest here they are not giving away anything at cost or below. They just have tighter margins on this item then your stores.

Lots tighter for sure. I guess as long as it is as good as Treasury Bills it's OK.......:)

So what's going to be better the oem 3 row copper or the csf 3 row all metal? ( including metal tanks)

no you don't. you want the oem brass rad from the 93 and 94s.
...

Depends on what is needed, what the priorities are? In our experience, the aluminum equipped rigs run a few degrees cooler than the brass ones. It's difficult to make a definitive test, ours is from large numbers of rigs, traveling together. It's consistent, can pick out the brass equipped rigs just from the temperature radio calls.

2, 3, 4 etc, cores, define "core". The most efficient would be a single core with a large surface area, most designs don't have that much room, so cores are stacked. Due to the manufacturing differences, cores and fins differ between brass and aluminum. Aluminum tube spacing can be closer and deeper, so are more efficient, often a 2 core aluminum has more surface area, will cool better than a 3 core brass.

Most all newer vehicles are aluminum, so modern antifreeze is formulated to protect to that reality. Some of the best antifreeze additives to protect brass and solder have been banned by the EPA, so for long life, aluminum is likely the better choice.

I have had an all metal CSF radiator in place for about a month now. Dropped right in like OEM and looked identical to the OEM that I removed. It seems to work just as a radiator should with no issues. I think they are a great OEM alternative.

I don't mind paying a fair price for a good product even where multiple sources exist where a few dollars might be saved elsewhere, if good customer service, product knowledge/advice are part of that equation. As long as the shop/business stands behind their products. There are some things that low bid wins...hell with the internet information is out there to wade through.

Of course there are others who no matter their price they can kiss my @$$, as I will go out of my way to give someone else the money even at a higher price, because they suck in so many different ways.

Good service (sales), customer service (warranty or making it right), product knowledge are worth paying for...it goes without saying that quality parts are part of that as well, as long as they have a fair price...I'm in.
