i picked this up a few months back with intentions of completing it. its a 65 frame and bed with a 77 cab. the frame is very nice. the body is not rust free but close. the floor has been cut out and i have a replacement pan for it. i have everything but the headache rack and the seats. it is a project! looking for $5000 give me a call if you have questions or need to see specific pics. luke 859-760-1942

Tranny is out? Engine is in? Does it run?

What would it take to get it safely & legally driving down the road?

Driver's seat, headlights, turn signals/stop lights, top corner glass... what else...?

just running and driving without paint. i would say a weeks worth of work. the cab isn't bolted down and the bed is with a few bolts. it will run just fine, steering needs bolted on as with the trans and t case. it is in overall great shape. the frame is really nice! i can take more pics tomorrow. it is a project! as you can see from the pic. there a ton of parts in boxes in the bed. some are new some are used. if something is missing other than the seats and headache rack, i should have it. i am in the process of moving shops and going through many shelves of 40 parts. really do not want to let this truck go. it is a great start to a killer 45!

So... wanna put a week into getting it roadworthy enough to drive back to NY...? ;-)

Great project rig... seen in person a couple of times and it is super pimp...

would be up for it. how much are you looking to put into it after the 5k?

Crap... you said "yes"... NOW I have to give this some SERIOUS thought. arrrggghhh...

I really didn't think you would go for it....

Can you email me more pictures and give me a better idea of the history... it looks like you have sources replacement fenders etc...

Thanks,
Mark

This rig sat in a chicken barn for 10-15 years at greg gregs in Andrews NC. So it's been in the dry for a long time.

Mark,

I would recommend having Luke assemble this rig if it's in your cards.

Jeff

Well unfortunately it is probably NOT in the cards for me... tempting, but not the rig I have my heart set on... If this were a 45LV in the same state I'd be digging up the mason jars full of cash buried in the backyard!

is this the truck?

that had a flat bed on it & had been killed in the right cowl/firewall area? if it is, that ol boy wanted 3000.00 for it then. u've done a lot of work only to be asking 5000.00. if it's the same truck, what did u do to the mashed side of the cab? that thing was drove in almost a foot at 1 time. i don't remeber the frame having any repairs on the channel but i do remember enough rust on the left rail that it was pushing the rail pieces apart. how did u fix this, any pics?

need a storage

Man if I had storage, I'd find a way to get it here.
