Found this 73 beauty that was detour to pasture in 93.

78K on the original F

Popped the hood and the motor looks good. Drivetrain also looked very good

Most importantly, the star door assemblies are in very good condition. I have collected a lot of bad shape ones trying to find one for Sherman.

Owner says, every year he takes a battery and fuel to it and fires her up. I am doing this next weekend.

The question is part her out or restore her...?

The way those screws are stripped, it looks like someone either tried to replace them or did several times and screwed the screws....

If so, I'd say drive it a while and see if you feel like taking on a resto project.

Getting it running and stopping and drive it around.....it deserves to be used, not torn apart.. Looks pretty descent. Better than many I've seen. A little Patina never hurt anyone...
