Ryan, cruiser addiction is in your blood - don't fight it! You know the drill, buy the best one you can afford and stay away from rust. But at the end of the day, most of us bought the first one we saw. Cheers.

Edit: Take some pics and post em up. We won't steer you wrong ;)

Thanks!!!!! So I wen and talked to the guy. He was a really nice guy. Seem like he was late 60's. He bought the pig BRAND NEW in 71 and still has all papper work and even the window sticker!! Its been sitting since 1983. He said the speedo cable broke around 30,000. He thinks its around 100,000 miles on her.He said that the motor has a rochester two barrel carb on her. (never hear of a rochester on a cruiser) He also say the motor spun a bering. Can that be fixed with out a complete rebuild?? He has a bunch of parts still in boxes from man a fre fome the 70's! the Floor is solid except some small holes in the driver and passenger floor and some holes in the roof. The rain gutters are completely gone. I couldent see much because he had a car cover on it and the top of it was completely gone due to sun damage. He wishes he can fix it up and drive it again but he spend all of his time taking care of his mom who is verry sick. I told I would love to see nack on the road and would love to have it but if you dont wanna sell then thats ok but i would still like to fix it up for you sso you could drive it again. He really appreciated it and was very kind to me. I think hes thinks he would love to keep it and get it fixed but docent think it will happen so he may sell it. In the next few weeks We will talk it over and make a decision and a agreement on what will happen.

Some PICS!!!

Big project. Most mechanical things can be fixed. Rust is the issue. Lower body panel rust is common and not too difficult to remedy, rust on the roof is very difficult. Look very carefully at the frame.

Is the interior in better shape or does it smell like a mouse cess pool?

It may be a possible parts truck if you can get it for very little. You may want to look for a 55 in better shape or at least one that is running and being used once in a while.
