facelift at last
Well it has been a long time my old friends but I am back with some pics!
Got her painted, redid the top with a stain/waterproofer, got the cb and stereo installed---8 months to get through paint! yikes, but also redid the camo dash in a different vinyl and put a new holder in place of the ammo can for the stereo/cb---done at a shop here in the UK.
I wasnt sure about the carbon fibre pattern but it looks clean and neat and looks good against the silver gauges and they had it in stock, nice thing about it is that it is not as perm as paint and you can change it out easy enough

soft top
My top is an Eshan (pakistan top) I got it through a group buy in which SouthBostonFJ generously did all the work
i went away over the winter and put a tarp over it---mistake!! The condensation caused mold inside and out---so I took it off, scrubbed it up, and refinished it with a product I got here off of EBAY.co.uk

The Agenda
So what is on the Agenda?
Cleaning up little details from the paint like putting the doors on and windows in!
I got an under hood insulation blanket the double sided foil type to install
I bought 2 OPTILUX 4" HID driving lights to install
The 1HDT/H55 install ---just got the bell housing on order for that
Install the aussie lockers
install Poser's rear disc kit
get parts for front discs
I have a hard top but the sides are trashed and then one got run over by a garbage truck and smashed ---now I am hunting for a set of side windows and someone willing to box em up and ship them
plenty to keep me busy but I think I am gonna take some time out for an overnight fishing trip, just me and the dog and the 40, ---that will be good at long last and I need to do it before tearing back into it for any more work!

Was khaki faded to nearly white with mold spots!
The new color was called desert sand

Lurcher not heeler
Hey ESHU, hope all is well with you
He's a Lurcher, they can be several mixes between sight hounds and sheperd dogs but he is a mix between a deerhound/greyhound, and a border collie---a kind of working dog in the UK used for hunting (or historically, poaching) rabbits
fantastically fast dog and one of the meanest frisbie killers you've ever seen

I'll be in the UK next august with my 45 and a trailer behind it. I think there would be enough space to fit some hardtop sides.
I'll be at the Prescot hillclimb. Don't know if that is close to you? I'll be driving up from Dover.

A few now she is home
I was riding down one of the farm tracks near here just tooling along in 2nd and trying out my new stereo when My woman from TOKYO came on---couldnt help but grin at that!
Been waiting 8 months to take the old girl out!
