Probably not far from right. Probably the extra parts in the back. The tires and rims made a big difference in the drive-ability at least. A little plus size on the tires will do until I can afford a little lift and some of those fine 49Tire meats...

So I've told some, but not public til this post. Long, sordid story, but I lost my job last week. Perfect timing given I just bought the HZJ. Ugh. I wrestled with the decision a lot, but ultimately decided to come get it. I mean, I have nothing but time, right? So here I am in Missouri at Land Cruisers Direct picking it up. Headed back south as soon as the deal is done.

Mine has the PTO winch but Ian W. was telling me he did a write-up on Mud some time ago about pulling the winch back further in the frame so that I can get rid of the chrome park bench. I won't look nearly as good posing on it as Beastiethe70 does on hers I assure you. I gotta find that thread...

Yes. It is a euro spec LHD model that has been defended as different in this thread though.

Yep. Supposedly the Euro spec is better than the Japanese spec of that motor. I’d rock it. Love the hard top.
