what are "low spots"? And what happens to those? Filler? tyGuide coat morning. This is sanding out very nice! Bodywork looks even, only a few low spots so far.

When sanding filler, sometimes there are high and low spots that you cannot feel or see. In other words, waves in the car or body work if that makes sense? Also, small dents or dings are mush easier to locate with primer and guide coat. Here I used light gray primer, then sprayed guide coat in black on top of the gray. I then use a block to sand the panels, and since the block is flat, it doesn't sand into the low spots, and sands through the primer on the high spots. As you sand, the black guide coat stays in the low spots so you can locate them easily and the high spots are bare metal. Sometimes the high build primer fills in low spots while block sanding, otherwise I use a filler. Then I have to prime and block sand again. It is quite the process. Basically though, primer is another type of filler really, especially high build primer that I use.what are "low spots"? And what happens to those? Filler? ty
I don't want to stop and clean because I am so close to completion. However, I need to clean up tomorrow, It is way too messy after sanding primer.
