May not look impressive, and it’s a little ugly in this raw stage, however this is the cleanest, straightest, near dead-on accurate quarter that I have done yet. All the curves and angles line up perfectly. I have been having issues with the right angle of the fender well lip, I couldn’t get it 90 degrees. The new English wheel takes care of that issue!!!
What in the world y’all towing with this truck? Air bags , overload leafs...
When we tow, it’s only a small utility trailer.The leaf pack in the rear is pretty stout, but with the rear drawers and RTT, the truck was sagging in the back. The airbags help keep it leveled out. I only keep about 10-13psi for daily driving.

How did you notice there was an issue? Could you feel it in the steering or hear it clunking around? I think I got lucky...i'm pretty sure mine was still just holding on by a thread in the front! Well, I wasn't so lucky. It was a sudden failure. I was wheeling and it snapped the weld and pushed...

I just went ahead and cut the whole wheel arch out of the door to be safe. Didn’t look too bad but at least we know now. The rust went halfway down the piece actually. I made the new part, show here in the photo.

Nope, I can’t really sell these and expect people to know how to fit them. I think most people’s frustration would end up pointing blame at me. They aren’t stamped, so you have to work with them. Hope that makes sense?

Looking good! The shot bag was the trick for making this crazy piece. This will get seam sealer, then it’s done.
