Oil change/ transmission fluid change and removed all of my rear seats. Looks huge back there!

Was it pretty easy to remove the 2nd row? I've thought about doing this but haven't really looked at it very closely.

Have been running around crazy getting last minute stuff ready and still have a lot to get done this week....but had to stop grill some Carne Asada and enjoy a cold beer...cheers  View attachment 1291470

Once again, here is the map for HIH.

Google Maps
That is a phenomenal camping spot within a short drive from downtown. Way to pick it! I stayed there a few years back and really thought highly of the location and the good folks operating resort. You guys will have a blast!

Depending on timing I would be interested in a caravan from Denver. I'm heading out Thursday morning.

What time do you think? I'm heading down Thursday as well, but trying to figure out times and if it would be worthwhile to meet people in Denver or go through Grand Junction since I'm in Steamboat.

If anyone else is arriving Wednesday @lstamatis and I are probably going to head out and do a run together Thursday. Not sure which trail yet.

My plan is to leave early morning so I can take my time getting there. I might adjust that time if others leave a bit later in the morning.

I plan to be rolling in on Wednesday as well and would be up to joining you guys on Thursday for a pre-run! I am leaving Denver on Tuesday morning heading done via the Medano Pass/Sand Dunes/Creede if anyone is up for that.

Should I bring this for camp?

Also, Marla just told me she's leaning towards coming. That would put us at a 3:30pm departure on Wednesday and arrival sometime between 10:30 and 11:00pm.

A big YES. If you can fit any types of canopy/covers, bring them - better to be prepped for rain rather than not. thx

Stupid question time:

At camp, do you think we can leave our tents, canopies, coolers, etc set up while we are out on the trails? In other words, will it be there when we get back?

We leave it all set up, for 3-4 days. Quite an investment was made for this location. It is basically just a campground/RV/cabin place and we rented a big section of it for our basecamp.
