OK got all brake lines routed and bled several times. I don't think this master cylinder is pushing enough fluid. Its from a 85 CJ Jeep. Do you guys know any master cylindeer big enough with manual brakes to stop my fj

Its 15 /16 Jeep CJ manual master cylinder it feels like its working just not enough pressure.

I haven't had a chance to test it out, but I am gonna be running a 1 1/8" bore MC in my truck. Is out of a Chevy Astro Van.
I also am running hydroboost brakes though.

Most 1 ton trucks run an MC of 1 1/8" bore or larger.
I remember seeing a website somewhere which helped me to determine the MC size for my truck, I will see if I can find it.

That website would be great. I just don't want to go and buy another master and be disappointed again I have strong legs I want to be able to lock up the brakes If I so choose

Well I'm not sure how well the manual brakes are gonna work.
I have always used boosters in my trucks.
Looking at your pictures you probably have room for a hydroboost Booster. They are fairly small and compact you can grab them out of astro vans for $50 bucks out at pick and pulls.

I would also take a look at the "Brake Bible" on pirate 4x4.

Which hydro boost should I get. One from. I have a cummins diesel. So should a get a booster from a Dodge diesel

Pretty much all of the hydroboost units are the same. I have a 6BT in my FJ60 and a hydroboost from an astro van bolts up with an adapter made from a toyota booster.
All you need to do is have high pressure lines made up to connect it to the power steering system.

All the info you need is in my build the bottom link in my sig. Starting around post #200.

How are your brakes can u lock them up. I wonder if it will be enough for my setup

Bought a hydroboost of a 05 Dodge 3500 off ebay. Its on its way it has just over a 1 1/4 bore size on the master. Should be plenty for my 1 ton axle set
