I just finished a trip from Vero Beach FL, up the highway to Atlanta, then up into the north GA mountains, a few days of wheeling on mountain trails (with some pretty impressive climbs up muddy clay trails), back roads and trails across the mountain range to Charlotte, then back down the highway home. A little over 2,000 miles total. I could normally keep at about 70 mph on the highway but bogged down going up hills. Kept my EGT's (post turbo) under 1,000 max and usually around 800. Got 19.7 mpg on the highway. All of that with 32's, a lift, and a bunch of heavy stuff bolted on the outside of the truck. I could not have been happier with the trip. And this truck is comfortable to drive.
