62 series elevated console

[Phrogdrvr]

I have an elevated console compartment lid for my 80 series but would like to find one for my 62 series. Does such an accessory exist?

There are 'low' and 'high' 60 series consoles, but a '62 already has the 'high' (later) style. Pix of what you're asking for would help.

Same as the 80 series lid, but you need to modify it.

Looks like the same one in my 98 T100. Blueish grey. I take a closer look tomorrow.

For that much coin why not just replace it with a Tuffy?

What @Mr Tibbs said.

Thanks for your responses. I've attached a pic of the elevated console from my 80 and the c
low console in my 62. Cruiserparts.net says the elevated console was not made for the 62. I'll see if I can make it fit on the 62 and if so maybe find one to put in.

It looks like it's just the lid off a '95-'97 LC put on the 62-series console. I got the later lid and put it on my '94, cost was about $40.

I would just measure the dimensions. I would bet they're the same opening for both consoles.

Cheapest option would be to get the lid from a salvage yard and then recover the leather upper lid, if needed. I bought the cover and did mine myself. It is not terribly difficult.
