Thanks Clint. You do bodywork?

Sliders? I'm in. Know anyone that can bend tube?

hey goat! yes I can do some bodywork. dogboys rig might be a bit easier to get looking right than yours but I could at least get your rockers straight and flat again:D (for the next outing)

I do know of one guy who can bend tube but I don't know him well enough to just go and ask for this big of a favor. LT at Metal Tech however said he could bend some tube for us. The best bet would be to buy the already bent components of the 80's series sliders that would work for us then modify and buy the rest of the steel to finish. Like I said I do have a few ideas floating around in my head and should be able to get a good jump on some in the coming weeks!

right on guys.... looks like a little time on the trail did ya some good. Lockers (even just one) and some sliders will make a huge difference and will make wheelin more enjoyable because you wont be so worried about denting your rig. Beyond the sliders a locker may have saved the rockers by allowing you to just "walk" over that big rock. Any hooters... here's a couple more pics clint sent me:

I know a guy down here that can bend tube. Let me know and I will try to get in touch with him.

So do I get the plague now for posting in the 60 section?

I highly recommend the Aussie locker, I was able to get one quick from www.aussielocker.com. Really easy to install, 3 hours for me because I had to run out and get a micrometer. Otherwise very quick and painless.

Yeah...thats a little more involved, but very worth it. I will be there soon. I might keep the rear as it is though. For me a front Aussie is not an option, unless I go to part time and hubs...

I dig the Assie lockers and it looks like they are back in stock. however I found a used lockright for a good price and will give it a shot.

Now that's funny!

:whoops: here I found these in my pocket :flipoff2: one for each of you.

fflcfreak, sorry I did not forget about you. we can totally weld up some sliders for that short wheelbase of yours. I would be more than happy to drink your frosty beverages while you work:beer:

now, I suppose you want to be an honorary 60s guy too. :)

Yeah, sorry. I guess I should stop snooping in the 60s section. I'd hate to ruin my reputation! :D
