Ballpark h55 into a 62 and who would you have do it?

You need the following:


1. H55F: $2300

2. Clutch master

3. Clutch slave

4. Hard lines and soft line for the clutch system.

5. Flywheel

6. Clutch system (pilot, clutch disc, clutch cover, throw out, fork, clips, boot, hub, bell housing).

7. Cross member and mount + hardware.

8. Pedal bucket

9. Cutting hole in floor and making it happen.

10. LABOR.

$3-5k is on the low side. I tell folks $6-7k

He is right on money at $6/7. I have a lot of the parts and could never make the $$ work in my head. Said part is your better be 100% lifer in that truck. By a 60 and never look back.

You can put a SBC and what ever trans you want for close to same money.

Clutch pedal.

Plus new driveshafts or have yours retubed.

The small stuff adds up fast. Once the $$ factor wears off having a manual behind a 3FE is so worth it.

Took the thermostat out today. It looked like a Barbical on the bottom of a pirate ship.

Temp gauge went from 1/4 to just under 1/2 and heaters blew super hot.

Hope it stays cool in the summer like it did
