What ever became of the crawler gear option for the split case?

Not that I will ever crawl this truck but if I ever did take it in the trail it would need some gears.

The crawler gears for the split case are readily available. I ran the prototype set in my vortec 80 for almost 4 months before pulling the split case out if it and then tearing it apart at AA with Randy, their chief engineer.
They've performed flawless and I've sold and installed about 35 sets at thus point. If you'd like a set, let me know....

Thanks G.......I need to decide if The Turd needs a $2500 set of legs or if it just needs to piddle put around the farm.

I'll say this, as good as it runs it is still a 135 hp motor propelling a brick down the road.

I should probably be more concerned with that as if this truck ever does see a rock it will likely take a trailer ride too them.

I don't think I have it in me to drive 6 hours with a 2F and 3.70s

Leave it alone. It's a cool 60 and to make it into a wheeler would cost too much. You'd never get half that money back out of it and when it's all said and done, it'll always be a station wagon .......
Enjoy it the way it is! Take the kids, make your groceries and take your lovely wife out to dinner in it from time to time.
