Been thinking about what I would need to snorkel my 60. Are the non-US carb hats and air canisters still available? I’d like to use OEM parts before I cut my air cleaner like @wngrog. Cutting and welding isn’t hard, I’d just prefer bolt on OEM as first choice.

I bought a Spectre Performance one from summit for the goblin/snorkel......I thought it was going to work, but may not....I asked if it was sealed and they said yes, but it isn't.
I may can dig the aluminum up and seal it.......tbc.....
I have played with the idea of doing a snorkel too and this setup by @FJ60Cam may be the best route for it! Super clean too. If I remember correct that is a Caddy adapter to a 62 air cleaner box?

How are y’all handling power in the rear? Since @NLXTACY doesnt make a rear quarter panel mount for the 60, it’s a little difficult to mount fuse boxes.
I didn’t have enough of anything heavier than 10ga, so I ran 10ga. That should be good for 30amps. At some point I’ll come back with something heavier.

With everyone putting steelie wheels on their 60s, these new wheels from Fifteen52 May be a good option. Cast aluminum but looks like steels. View attachment 1989159
This showed up today.....Looks to be savable, but has a good bit of body rust. Frame has scales but solid from what I can tell. When I say body rust I mean it! However it’s an unmolested December of 82 truck still rocking the factory radio and original manuals. The back had a pair of rear quarter panel replacement panels, a compete set of fender flares, and some springs. Not sure what is going to happen to this truck just yet!
