Looking into fabric interior kits for my 1988 FJ62 - I see CCOT and Cruiser Corps both offer grey fabric interior kits. Anyone have experience with either one? Not expecting OEM, but if one of these two is a little tougher that would be a deciding factor for me. They appear extremely similar and cost about the same.

Also ordering a grey vinyl/PVC carpet kit from TRU-FIT in Australia, I may post a review/install when that gets in if anyone is interested. Does entire floor and cargo area, and the rear wheel wells. Truck is a daily as well as camping rig, so it should be a nice improvement over carpet.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the carpet kit? That's on my to-do list for this year if I can find an affordable option.

Flooring shipped was $794 aus, or about $600 usd. That was for EVERYTHING - front section, rear seats, cargo, wheel wells - and about half the cost is shipping. You can do cheaper is not doing everything. Three companies I found in Aus that do FJ60 stuff are All Car Carpet, NO Bull, and Tru-Fit. All have different options, and offer multiple colors(gray, black, brown). I think you can get a set for under $500, but TruFit was the only one offering wheel well covers.

Check with SMS Auto Fabrics. I just re-did my front seats with OEM reproduction fabric from them and they came out great. I have an '83 FJ60 with brown interior, so I know they have that fabric in stock. Sounds like you are looking for the exact opposite...grey, 62 series pattern, but it is worth reaching out to them to see if they have any. I have a set from cruiser corp, but they have not been installed. I opened the box to inspect and was pleased, but would ultimately like to keep my 60 as stock as possible.

TMW: Is SMS the one that has the repro "harvest gold" and brown striped early FJ60 fabric? How much was it per yard?

Curious to see the true-fit stuff. I just got my grey from Trail Tailor and started install yesterday. got tons of pics. the middle(first) section is a bear. Hope to start a thread for install in the next few days. Lets us know if those wheel well covers fit a 60 without shoulder belts. Thanks!

Sorry for the ridiculously late reply (I never got an email alert on your post)! Yes, SMS has the FJ60 brown stripe fabric for sure, which is what I ordered. I think it was about $90 per yard, with the roll of fabric being 60" wide.
