vs11 - Magnificent! What colour is that? I'm looking for a dark tan, and I like that colour. J

My wifes parents live in the Boro and their neighbor has a pretty nice 60.

Brand new to the site. Excited to be here!

Name: Gokstate
Wagon nickname - Adventure Wagon or Dirty Pig depending on which family member you ask.
223,000 miles
Mostly stock. The plan is to embrace the vintage exterior and spruce up the interior with SOR pieces. Also need to hunt down the few missing interior parts.
Going to be used as a family camping wagon / goof off vehicle.

I have finally acquired my first Land Cruiser, I've always wanted one and had the score of the century fall into my lap. I just couldn't pass it up, now I have a project

1988 fj60
~240k miles indicated
No mods, was a daily driver until parked in 2013
Plans: get it on the road as a DD, probably also the future road trip rig.

HPKwgC

PO said it needed a headgasket and the rear brakes were locked up. I put a fresh battery in it and it will run, although it is extremely hard to start. A quick brake adjustment and it is at least movable. It began to overheat after ~25 minutes at idle and ~5 minutes at 2500rpm.

I'm not sure what the problem really is, I'm starting with a full tune up and record setting coolant flush (the old stuff was NASTY) and going from there

I guess I'm dumb. I can't find the edit button to fix the picture. And I thought I was a forum veteran.

Here's the only picture I have of it right now. It was an 8/10 for nastiness on the inside.
