You need to do a write up of this truck and submit it to the Toyota Land Cruiser Association.

I think I am going to have to get a sock

Hi list, this is my FJ60. It is a 1987 GX model. It has 112000Km on it and is a high roof version. It is all original and really looks like a new wagon. It was impounded in 1992 and I purchased it 2000. Basically a new car that sat in roofed garage for 10 years. It had around 47000Km when I purchased it . Truck came with baged original manual, baged tools, mint seats, new roof rack, original winch, long version bumpers. Its engine is an original 3F carburated engine with high performance carb. The transmission is 5speed. Original AC and power steering. It also came with overhead console that has altimeter and thromometer and map lights. It has an original powered sunroof, in dash inclinometer and reclinable steering wheel.
It has original front and rear sway bars and rear reclinable seats.

The following is the stuff I added later to it.

1. TRD 3F factory lightended and built small block. it is about 3lb lighter than a stock 3F.

Maybe we need a RIQUE thread to discuss this vehicle in more depth and.......

PICS! WE NEED PICS!

Curious about the 'cylindrical door locks and keys'... You mean the keys are cylindrical like are used on vending machines?

I have been trying to up load pics but they are to large. I will get them ready by tomorrow. The door lock exactly like vending machines. Real cool and you can't copy em. Till tomorrow. Enrique

1989 Fj62

10/24/2010 Have owned over 7 years now and have put about 21K miles on it. Engine was supposedly rebuilt approximately 35K miles ago.
It had some rather cheap looking extended shackles when I bought it, so I replaced them with Specter 1" extreme shackles plus new bushings.
It also has OME shocks, TLC monster calipers and MacNamara gear. It came with a console pad/armrest, plus nice seat covers. Has an Aussie
rear bumper. It is used for winter driving, ski trips, hauling a canoe and expeditions into Canada and Alaska.
