First vehicle I ever drove was our family's 1983' Fj60, from my father's lap, off road. Grew up in the back of that 60. Your kids are lucky to have a dad like you!

My addition to the "porn", this is how I've spent this summer and covid isolation.

Both front and rear axles rebuilt, cable lockers, full floater rear

Stainless steel body-frame mounting tubes nearby the lockers handles. These are going to be forever now x) The factory tubes rotted out inside the bushings...

PTO case with reverse gear! I've been hunting for that rare one for a while, anyone who've used a PTO winch a lot, would know how useful a reverse gear can be.

H55F rebuilt too, ready for installation.

Looking for some input/help...

So i’m close to having my 88 driveable, finally... after a 2+ month process of stripping the entire truck, enamel + 2k, based with Toyota’s newer Cement Grey, and a glamour clear finish (previous owner painted it like a Chevy Camaro blue, SMH).

Engine runs great, 130k miles. Changed all fluids, belts, new AC discharge line and dryer, etc. Also found a set of Skyjacker H7000s...

Have a few more cosmetic things to change out, but looking for suggestions for any major items as far as mechanics.

It sways when making a turn getting on the interstate, any suggestions for anti sway bars or other part replacements.

Looking for a little bit of get up and go, even if it’s just on the low end?

Also, if anyone has any ideas on the best way to level an FJ62... please give me a shout

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Open to any and all suggestions, thanks.
