@Tennessee80 your running 35s with that lift? Any rubbing problems? What size wheels and do you use spacers?

Somehow it works! 16.5x8 inch wheels. The back space on the wheels is about 4” and the wheels clear the calipers and TRE just fine. Only rubbing is medium-heavy flex on trails but really overall does fine. If I had 1 more inch higher it would be ideal. I’m either going to do Alcan or wait until I can afford a next level coil front or frame swap.

@Tennessee80 why not just put some extended shackles on it to get another inch?

I'm planning an OME lift, 1.5 lift shackles in front and 1 inch shackles in rear. I'll probably need to shim the front to correct caster but that would give good clearance for 315/75r16. We'll see.

Hi All,
This is my 62 on its way home from Atlanta to Bow, WA. My son and I took an adventure road trip that we'll never forget. I'd love to say that it was everything I expected, but it wasn't. Found out that tie rod ends were toast in Omaha Nebraska (we thought the steering box was loose) and brakes went out in Yellowstone. Got home and the transfer case was a mess and needed lots of work. Word of caution- Do not buy something without having it carefully gone through first. But it was emotion over logic and in the end, I think I'll be alright. I do love my LS! Working on the interior now.
