Usually old Toranado's or Eldorado's ended their days as floater tow trucks. Never thought I'd see a 60 chopped up for that.
Not sure I'd trust birfields that far! Cool nonetheless.

the front part is a hydraulic lift. It’s used to launch and haul out float planes. I’ll try and catch a picture of it in action.

He runs a bush plane operation, kind of the unofficial main fuel / service guy at our local airstrip. This 60 is used to move float planes around out of the water, and launch / haul them out.
