60 Series body group buy interest? 1/16 WPL chassis (1 Viewer)

I bumped into a guy who might be able to make a dream of mine become reality: a 60 Series body for a 1:16 scale WPL C-24 chassis. I love the WPL stuff because it’s cheap to get into and pretty capable both out of the box and when built up.

I’ve started working with this guy, just asking some questions and feeling out the process. I thought others might be interested and mentioned that to him. He’s open to the idea of a group buy so here I am posting about it.

For reference you can get an RTR WPL C-24 for around $75. You can buy the kit (which has some upgraded components over the RTR) for about $110. Not sure on the cost per body yet, though I was quoted $100-200 for a single one.

There’s a company called MFab that does them for 1:10 already. Looks like nice stuff!

Yep, a tad pricey. If you check out his finished work though, it's pretty immaculate.
