Just putting it back together. I did the water pump and looked at swapping my 2 position pulley for a three position pulley.
I had the bumper, grill and radiator off. Keith came over to help me get the bumper/winch back on. He's kind of frail and I hated to ask, but he does live close by.
Does anyone know...

Is it contra-indicated to use lock washers on the gas shocks?
I dont think it would be a problem, but Id sure like the stuff I NEED tight...to BE tight.
Got 3 coats of primer on today after mounting the gas shocks...
Almost done!

I just used Red Locktite on the studs when I screwed them into the metal, both on the bumper and the swingout.

If you can get a ny-lock nut on there that would be real nice.
On the spots that I could get behind I tapped the boss and I installed a lock nut = overkill

Your rig is way to clean.
I'm just saying.........![]()
Looks great Keith! Looking at your pinion angle...it looks really high...which is probably how you intended it to be. But will the diff lube level be high enough to keep the pinion bearing lubed? Or did you relocate your diff fill plug to allow a higher fill height?
Or is it just a pigment of my imagination?![]()
