Well, no one has shown up here saying they bought it!! Unless it's one of those lurkers.

OK, so I called, and it is missing engine stuff like head, exhaust, intake, but tranny on still seem intact. Back end is supposedly rusted, but the floors and stuff apparently OK.

Seller doesn't think he'll get around to doing the resto he once wanted to do.

I asked for more pictures, which he said he'd send, but seeing as he's almost at the complete other end of the continent from me, I figure it might make it's way to AZ before coming up to the north east.

Can I send someone the picts to post if/when I get them?

You can send the pictures to me if you want. Don't worry about me buying it out from under you. I need to unload vehicles not buy. That's what I keep telling my wife anyway. Why doesn't someone come out to AZ with a big transport, I'll make them a package deal. If the 40 doesn't sell I may switch to selling off 25s instead. I thinking of moving soon and would love to unload before hand.

Well no pictures yet, but I did get a couple of shipping quotes...between $2000 to $2500, and I have to drive 45 minutes to the border to pick it up

Guy sounded decent, but as much as I want a 25, I am not ready to tack on $2500 to the asking price...at least not for this particular unknown vehicle.

If someone here was selling one of their 25's, well that would be a different story...at least I'd be buying with a little more confidence

Well I got the pictures, and as promised John, I just e-mailed them to you.

True it is missing some stuff, but there seems to be enough of this 25 to have me really wishing I could find an alternative to the $2000+ shipping cost to get it parked here at my home.

Hey John, please let me know if you’re going pick it up...I may be easily persuaded, and in a much better position to pick up two 25's from AR, over shipping one from El Cajon.

Hope I'm not out of line here...but any body on the north east coast interested in helping John ?

Maybe we can save a decent bit of change if we actually took John up on his offer, and collectively purchased a few FJ's from him, and shared the shipping back home.

Hope you don't mind John, but if you are thinking of moving, maybe we can find a way to make a few people, including yourself, happy
