I have seen plenty of 2000 100s for $5k with ~100k less miles. Even though there are no leaks, you have to at least be thinking about the head gasket in the 350k range. OP said it himself, this is the high mile club.

Head gaskets aren’t really an issue with these - as long as the cooling system has been serviced on a schedule - which this one has. Bottom line is; I guess if you can find well-maintained, rust-free 100 series for under 5k, jump on them. I would.
