My 24V 4WD control switch (84724-60030) was starting to bother me in how ratty it looked:

Unfortunately, the 24V version is no longer made. BUT, the 12V is still made:

12V 4WD switch: 84724-60020
24V 4WD switch: 84724-60030

In doing research, I found that both switches use the same 12V bulbs (84999-10410).

So, I ordered the 12V switch and stuck it in my 24V truck. Should work, right? Same bulbs! Yeah no, it didn't. The entire switch melted.

So, the 12V version definitely does not work in the 24V system. But how are the bulbs the same then? Both versions use the same 12V bulb. So, I bought yet another switch and took everything apart. Here is why they both use the same bulb. The voltage is split in the 24V version, so each bulb only gets half the voltage.

I swapped the 24 circuit board over to the new housing, and everything works great and looks great now.

If anyone knows where to get new Filter and Pre Heat NOS faceplates, hit me up.

Many thanks to @FJ73Texas for the part numbers advice. Super helpful.

Last note before the trolls: yes, yes, I could have swapped out to manual hubs and ditched this switch all together. But nah.
