Anyone know what metal gauge was used on the floors, door sills, inner and outer rockers? It seems as if the door sills slightly heavier gauge than the floor, but it's tough to tell because everything is a bit rusty.

Any help would be appreciated.

I believe in the 60s cruisers it was 16ga metal. Not sure if the LVs were different but with Toyota subbing the bodies out to GIFU who knows.

This a piece from the rear floor near the spare tire carrier. Looks to be 18 gauge.

Thanks for taking the time to measure it. It's time to buy a pile of 18 gauge sheet metal because it will probably take me 3 attempts or more to create the shapes I need. The only way to learn is to try it!
