Time to introduce myself to the 120 Section. Picked up a 2006 GX470 with 112,500 miles. Started off with an FJ40, then FZJ80. Need to tow a small camper trailer so I needed a V8. Color is the Ash Blue Mica. Great condition. When the AHC fails I will switch over to OME suspension. Other than that, no other mods currently planned. Flew to Reno and drove back to Durango. What a plush ride. It was a one owner, female driven, garaged kept car. Had maintenance records for every 5K miles.

Welcome! I also went from an 80 to the GX after the 80 got totaled. Love the V8 grunt and the nibble handling compared to the 80. Miss the angulation of the solid differential but not enough to go back. Nice find for you!!!

Wot are you gonna do about tires?

Within the next month going to purchase Nitto Ridge Grapplers. 265/70/17 on stock rims as I need to fit tire in spare location and not deflated. Then go with Radflo 2" lift with Firestone Airlift 1000 bags. Hoping the Radflo kit from Metaltech will go on sale this fall during the holidays.

I already bought the Metaltech coil conversion kit and the Airlift bags.
