Not as cool as the red 77 that I posted just before ya, but that looks like it's ready to rock. Make sure the v 8 swap was done properly, not too much rust , offer 10-12k and rock out. I know for a fact that those MTRs will last 8 years!

Rock will take care of that

So I will be in Memphrica next weekend for work and am hoping to call Performance Distributors and order/pick up a DUI.

They need alot of info. about my truck though and I have been digging for a week and have some of it and some I don't...I would appreciate verification I am right and/or help with ?s:
I have a stock 2f with 38 webber carb

1. Cubic inches -- 257.9 (Haynes manual)
2. Compression ratio -- 7.8:1 (Haynes manual)
3. 2 barrel 38 webber card, but what is CFM (Cubic feet per minute)
a 38 DGAS has a 389 CFM rating and a 38 DGU has a CFM rating of 400..how do I tell which I have?
4. Cam Duration (searched mud and manuals)?
5. Cam Duration at .050 ?
6. Valve lift?
7. All 40's have a flat tappet cam correct?

I appreciate any help or edumacation:bang:

Just buy a dist for a 2F and be done with it. You have enough info for them.

John, all the info you cited above is correct.

I got nuthin' on the Weber specs.

Yes on the flat tappet cam.

IIRC stock cam duration is 190 degrees and lift is 0.50, but you should confirm with an expert. I'd PM Poser with those questions to be sure.

I don't get why they're asking about 2F engine specs. They've built and sold a bazillion of these units for 2F's. Can't you just tell them it's a stock engine and let them go from there?

Ditto. Tell them its the same one they sell to MAF.

Sea Knight, Jeff, Lash...thanks for the input ill go with what info I have and it should be plenty.

I was only wanting all the specifics so it would be a bolt in deal with no tweaking needed.

This is Al Parker's truck. He has built several Land Cruisers in the past. He had the Yellow and white chopped FJ55 a few years ago. Al is the type of guy that spares no expense when it comes to modifications. This rig has my original, "waste mgmt" style tube fenders (circa 2000). Also, has my FJ40 axles with ARB, disk brakes, 4.88 r/p. I installed the longfield birfields for Al when I sold the axles.

This FJ45 is a nice truck. Some of the work was done by Jewell Bohannan. Definitely worth the asking price if you're looking for a modified 45. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the propane. I think you lose too much space due to the tank.
