It was the best deal for us. Wanted a capable wheeler with an auto that you can drive on the street....this is it.
 
Need to Change out springs or remove some leafs from spring pack on sheila's 40.

Ride is way too rough. Especially compared to Srob's red 40.


Any suggestions?

Here's a suggestion: thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife's 40.
 
Lenny I removed the 2 smallest springs (on bottom) and my ride got alot better. Just clamp the entire pack, remove the ubolts, loosen the clamps and take out the lower 2 (check spring pins while you are there) and bolt it back up.

how are the shackles/bushings?

Do you think it is front, rear, or both? With that custom double shackle set up in the rear I would be curious about the shackle angles. Are they vertical or do they have some angle? (prolly need to pass that rig on to someone like my big ass to Put some weight on those springs;) )
 
Anyone have manifold bolts for a 2f laying around? I have no bolts to use as a reference. If you have one i can borrow that will be great.

76. I don't think the top has ever been off.
Old black man owns it. Been a customer for years.
Every time I ask about buying it he just laughs.

12 years old. RF seperated last summer with the tread coming off. He just decided to replace them.

Just a set of 31x1050-15 Firestone AT. Was going with China made AT and moved him in to USA built.

82000 on speedo. Look at the seats. They look orginal. Very cool 40. STOCK, STOCK, STOCK.
