May not be the best place to post these but they are of the coolness I saw today. Had to pull over and snap a few shots. Looked for someone to talk to about it but no luck. No for sale sign but it was in front of a repair shop in Metairie. Notice the Australian tag.

This troppy has been sitting there for well over a year. The guys inb the shop say its for a customer that they are waiting on parts for. When you offer help or customers info they clam up. So it will likely sit there a good while longer. Nice troopy thou.

You should hook up the shackle last. Easy to align that way

This is my older cousins truck.....since sold.

We had a 50 year anniversary party for his parents and this made the slideshow last night.

First time in this truck we went out to Cheaha State Park in Alabama and climbed everything we wanted....and pulled out 2 broncos:D

I was to young to tell him to flip the bezel....pretty much stock truck from what I remember...

Cool old photo. Bezel orientation is correct.

anybody know the diameter of the wheel cyclinder brake line tube? Rob is going to help me flare one so we can reuse my fittings but we have to figure out what size tube to buy. I have diagrams from the FSM but I dont see a size for it. some on ebay for 74 LC but still no diameter mentioned

Take your old one to the parts store. They can match the diameter and length of the tube and the fitting size. All you should have to do is bend it to shape. I have a bender if you need it. I know the Advance in Ridgeland has the lines in stock. No flaring required!

Thank you Lash...ill let you know on the bending tool....Rob may can do it and he is closer to me

Very. Sounds like a solid deal.

x2, that sounds like a super truck, especially with the PTO.

Nolen, I doubt you'd remember this but I consulted you in 2005 before buying my latest 40, AKA the rustbucket. It wasn't a rustbucket then, at least not that I knew. I think you were still in Dallas then?

Anyway, I intend to give you full credit in my evolving rustbucket adventure tale. I mean thread. In case I never thanked you then, thanks.

And lee has a hilarious thread yall should go read about it all.
