Lenny, Which are you referring too? I did not see that one. First one is gray right hand drive.

Funny looked Blueish on my computer, but yes the right hand drive one. It looked very clean. No good pics of frame though. I would want to know how much rust it has. Body looked good.

Been having serious electrical problems with the 40. It is eating batteries like Reese's Cups.
In last year has had 2 alternators and a new voltage regulator and 3 batteries. Any of you guru's got any ideas.

The 80 has issues as well. Keeps blowing the big fuse that runs the windows, door locks and the aux tank.

Cruiser gremlins are living in the Tolleson fleet....

Thanks for any help.

I really suck at electrical issues but I'll give it a shot. Give me more on the 40. What is the voltage at the battery when running? Are you cooking the battery with too much voltage or is it dying from too little? Having to jump start after sitting? If you disconnect the battery cable with the vehicle not running and reconnect do you get a spark???????

Intel on the 40 this week. Thanks BossMan!

Do you have that blaupunkt sub hooked up? Check and make sure that thing is cutting off. There is a red light on it. It cuts itself on when it sees a signal. And is supposed to cut off after a period of time not seeing a signal. Just an idea.

we pulled the fuse, a battery and alternator ago.

Chris you clean and tighten all grounds? That was my problem.

Jordon, I did not know you were in the lookin mode for a 40. The pics of the one in OB look ok. Wish I could get over there and look at it in person.

Myke, I dabble in many, many areas of finding stuff. Stuff. Dadgum stuff.

The 80 sounds like too much of a load on the circut. Also most power windows use a circut breaker instead of a fuse. If the breaker gets hot it will open the circut ie: trying to roll up multiple 80 series windows at one time.

There is a white 2-door Mitsubishi Montero at the U-Pull-It that still has the back seat. I have read that this seat will fit between the wheel wells in the back of a 40. It folds flat, and tumbles forward for cargo space.

Do a search for "Montero seat" in the 40 section and read away.

Somebody go get it and all the mounting hardware, belts, etc.

I personally saw this rig and rear seat on Saturday the 14th. The seat was folded flat and had some stuff on top of it, but it looked OK. It was original tan cloth. I'm sure it will need a good cleaning.

I got the driver seat adjustable suspension frame with sliders that I might use in the GunRunner some day.

If I get a stock 40, will I be able to pull my trailer with any kind of gusto or is it going to be a pig?

If it is going to be a pig what is a good way to fix that? Gearing or motor? What motor swaps are ok in a 40?

Who want my 100 and 62?
