NoDo 40s have that oil cooler on side of motor? Check is also?
Buddy of mine said the head bolt locations in the block can crack and push coolant up that way. Anyone else seen this? It would explain why the machinist didn't see any cracks in the head.
Hopefully I can talk to him this week.
Also, anyone know if you can easily put a later FJ60 2F with the different style valve cover in a FJ40? Carbs and dissy interchangeable?
). I started with an entire stock FJ62 for parts but the conversion is going into another 60 series. Even with this there are mods to be done, more so for a 40.
