Im probably the only on here that noticed the wooden Chris craft with the barrel transom in tow. You think 40s are going for crazy mad wonga, price one of those.
I don't know $&@% about boats, but that one caught my eye as much as the truck. Nice combo right there.

Painful. I realized the same things and sold my 71. Now its restored by a wooden boat dealer in NY state. Its happy and i banked the cash until this current job ends.

Good luck

I see you (natchez trace village)

For the record I looked a the cruiser first and the boat almost immediately after that. Love an old wooden boat. We had an old Thompson (IIRC) while my step dad ran a Marina at Pickwick, TN. Good times!

Took Lee Majors out and blew the cob webs out. Love this junk....

Talked with Rob, and he gave me a name, but I'm looking for others too (maybe local?). Appears to be original carb on this '82 (full smog), and I'm looking for the right person to rebuild it. Anyone have any suggestions? This thing runs like crap, and that's where I'm gonna start.......

There are youtube vids to rebuild carbs in the 40 forum. Lemmonhead??

I said eff it and paid the piper Jim C. (Be ready for downtime)
He's the "master", even places like ACC bow to Jim
