No idea. Just quoting what the guy told me.
No matter what the case, this has been an interesting learning experience. I love hearing the history on FJ40s. 
Even at the $450 discount price, I'd think that only a purist doing a museum quality restoration would be interested. Especially when most any auto glass shop will cut a 40 windshield for under $100. But there are deep pockets purists out there. You just need to find one.

Anyone have a set of hub studs for a 40, 60, 62, or mini truck?
I have cone washers, lock washers, and acorn nuts. So I just need the studs.

I realize that the unicorn did show up once and pay 2x what you paid for your 40 but do you think lightning will strike twice for you?

Lash, have you considered upgrading while you're at it? I have some stocks you are welcome to use and replace at your leisure. Trail-Gear carries hub studs, but I prefer to use Front Range OffRoad just because it makes me feel like a better person :>)
No Nolen, not waiting for a unicorn. Though, I think if I tried hard enough, I could get a bunch of $$ for it. 
Fleabay has very few (if any) OEM windshields for sale. I think I could do pretty well selling it there, especially to a collector or purist with more money than sense.

Lash, I'll second Jordan's suggestion re the upgrade, but I think I have the set I removed in the garage somewhere. I'll look when I get home.
I'm hoping to quickly put together a set of 12 so we can finish the install. I may swap to the ARPs from Front Range later.
I think JRob and Jeff may have a few.

Congrats. I also scored a Toyota windshield today, for $90. The seller bought it in 2005 for $45. He felt good about doubling his money, and I was happy to help him out. Now all I need is a cheap gasket.
