Pass. I can't afford the towing bill that would result from that mess failing somewhere out in BFN. That would be Bum F#*^ing Nevada...:D

There are pics of at least two different coilover systems. Funny when a week ago while talking about the new King shocks everyone said it was impossible to mount coilovers on the front of the 100....guess not!

As for the 4"+ lift, I would rather just keep saving and go Slee SAS.

Is that from the Japanese site that was in the link that was provided in yur first post? Looks interesting!

Yes, they seem to have made coil over shocks that fit the 100 without modifying and parts for a 2" lift or you go for the 4" (maybe 6"?) kit.

Here's the link to the page on the keep slant page. Does anyone on here know how to read Japanese?

x80 kajillion. I'm not quite getting the once independent lower a-arms that are now held on by one bolt and tied to each other. It's like quasi-solid axle.

I have to agree, but atleast we now know that coilovers and 4"+ lifts are actually being built for the 100. However, with that said, you cant deny that this looks pretty sweet....

I'm pretty conservative when it comes to switching out OEM parts, however my attraction to a 4-6" lifted 100 WITHOUT a SAS is still very strong.

OK techies...so it looks like they did not make a new knuckle? Instead they used all those parts that look like various "adapters" to accomplish the same thing. Have I got that correct? Is it those parts that have you concerned (along with the lower arm setup as well)?

It does look good, but if I was to get a kit which made drastic changes like this one, I'd probably want a kit that's made by a popular suspension company (OME, rancho, skyjacker...etc)

How about this for the guys with AHC. Now they can get the 2 inch lift and keep the AHC function. 1400 US... hmm better get an ome lift instead...doesn't look very solid to me.

link doesnt work.. oh well...

Do any of those setups actually add articulation, or only provide lift? 37"s with only 7" of travel seems like a wasted effort.

Looks like some front driveshaft issues might need to be addressed as well.

I could do almost any trail with current articulation and that lift height/tire size. It gets the big body and overhangs out of the whay and provides more gorund clearance. I'm sure you'ld need CV shafts like on my 80.

Those companies are popular here, for all we know, these guys could be very popular in Japan. Also lifting 100s in the US is not very popular, so this is probably as good as its going to get.

This is the future not the Erector set lift

The erector set is alot cheaper and a far less drastic change from the original setup though..........but its also not an SAS so.......

I've actually been looking into your n74l setup, can I run that with 866's?
